Dr. John A. Boockvar, MD

Dr. Boockvar sees patients for an array of neurosurgical issues that include acoustic neuromas, brain tumor evaluation, brain tumors, skull base neurosurgery, glioblastoma, head and neck soft, metastatic brain tumors, pituitary adenoma, spinal tumors and much more.
Currently he is Vice Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery at Lenox Hill Hospital and teaches Neurological Surgery and Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at the Zucker School of Medicine. He is also well known for his surgical expertise and for providing patients with safe, effective, and minimally invasive treatment and is is also an honorary surgeon of the NYPD and the New York State Troopers.
