About Dr. Matthew Cantlon
Professional Statement
Dr. Cantlon treats both pediatric and adult upper extremity issues. He has a key interest in arthritis of the hand, wrist and elbow, upper extremity fractures, and nerve compression syndromes such as carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel syndromes. He also treats masses of the hand and upper extremity including ganglion cysts, tendonitis, lacerations and ruptures.
Dr. Cantlon is also trained in microsurgical nerve repair and reconstruction, tendon and ligament repair and reconstruction, arthroscopic treatment of the wrist and joint replacement of the hand, wrist and elbow. He also utlilizes wide-awake hand surgery, a technique which limits surgical recovery times and improves outcomes.
